Summary on Grant Application Form |
This project will assess the technical and economic feasibility of a completely new approach tomanufacuring based on the principles of layer-on-layer rapid prototyping methods by combining them with high speed printing technology. This new approach will be aimed at manufacturing production parts rather than prototypes. This is a collaborative programme between three Univesities (Warwick,DeMontfortand UMIST) and a several industrial partners, reresenting a cross section of industrial end-users, equipment and material suppliers.
