|
We intend to study the asymptotic behaviour of Eigenvalues in the spectral gaps of a periodic partial differential operator in a waveguide, which appear as a result of a perturbation by a non-periodic operator of a lower order. We are planning to obtain asymptotic formulae for these Eigenvalues for large values of the coupling constant and to single out the abstract properties of the spectral function responsible for their asymptotic behaviour.
