Summary on Grant Application Form |
To investigate how to obtain solution estimates in backward diffusion problems, including obtaining estimates right up to the final time. Such estimates are vital in image recovery techniques. Also to continue work on the solution behaviour when a fluid is adjacent to a saturated porous material. In particular, to decide which boundary condition should be used in practical studies.
