The network will advance the above objectives by:(1) Running focussed workshops devoted to the underpinning of scanning probe microscopy technology and its applicants in nanotechnology;(2) Facilitating exchange and interaction of network members through the provision of travel funds;(3) Funding interactions between members of the network and centres of excellence abroad;(4) Providing limited seedcorn funding experimental or theoretical work arising from new collaborations within the network.
