Summary on Grant Application Form |
The aim of this project is to produce a risk accounting system. We will investigate how organisations can monitor their risk exposure over time taking account of changes to their risk culture. Although organisations do often learn from past incidents, degradation of the risk culture may lead to unnecessary risk exposure. The key research hypothesis is that it is possible to monitor such changes and provide quantified assessment of risk and its financial impact along with recommended remedial actions. The project will use a Bayesian approach to model both objective and subjective factors and attitude survey techniques to inform the subjective measurements in the model.
