Summary on Grant Application Form |
The work that Dave Barton will do in collaboration with Hilary Kahn, Andy Carpenter and other members of the Mint Group will focus on:* Producing an overall status report on SLDL including material that can be disseminated jointly via the SLDL and Mint Group web sites* Planning the creation of an EXPRESS information model of Rosetta. This will provide the framework for more detailed future modelling work.* Kick-starting the modelling process by developing models for some of the key aspects of Rosetta. Possible areas for further investigation here are the constraint specification mechanism and the inter-facet relationship mapping.* Preparing draft publications on the application of information modelling to SLDL.In addition, Dave Barton will speak at the UK Design Forum and visit several UK research groups including those in Stirling, Newcastle and Southampton.
