Summary on Grant Application Form
The proposed research will investigate the application of double differential space-tirne block coding (DD-STBC) to multiuser CDMA systems. The DDSTBC does root assume perfect channel estimation at the river and channel invadation over two oonsectutive symbols or blocks, but was derived in a single user environment and therefore no multiple access interference (MAI) was considered. In view of the proffiration of corrurwrcial CDMA systems and ubiquity of MAI in these systems this project will implement DD-STBC in a multiuser CDMA environment, vigorousy anayse the impact of IN on the performance of DDSTBC, and develop appropriate multiuser detection algorithms to mitigate MAI in the context of DDSTBC.
