Summary on Grant Application Form |
RF/microwave technologies have advanced dramatically in recent years, mostly in association with a wide proliferation of wireless communications in society. This has stimulated further research into the health effects of microwave exposure worldwide. Also the advances in RF/microwave technologies have led to many new applications in therapeutic modalities and medical imaging. Therefore, it is timely to organise a two-day IoP/IEE joint conference in UK on 'RF Interactions with Humans: Mechanisms, Exposure and Medical Applications'. The conference will offer keynote talks, oral and poster presentations and exhibition opportunities and cover a variety of new and challenging topics.
