|
The proposal aims to understand emerging links between the algebraic topology of loop spaces associated to toric geometry and thecombinatorics of invariants associated to Stanley-Reisner algebras. Initial calculations of rational Pontryagin rings will be made for flag complexes, where results are likely to be more predictable; generalisations will be introduced systematically as the project proceeds, in the light of key examples.
