|
The aim of this Masters Training Package is to provide education in the theory and practice of health informatics, helping students to master the body of knowledge concerning the problems of healthcare, the concepts used to analyse them and the principles that govern the successful engineering and application of solutions.Our objectives are to take an existing course and extend it in two ways : (1) by developing web-based materials that will allow us to move to a distance learning course and (2) by improving access for students through the provision of studentships. The existing course was developed in collaboration with a number of employers, a number of whom will continue to monitor the relevance of the course content.
