Summary on Grant Application Form |
The research and industrial demonstration project aims to harness the UK-led background science of process imaging through tomographic sensing based upon several physical principles. Many industrial processes will require two sensor modes. The research will embrace a variety of challenges: the system integration of several single mode sensors, the data fusion of the resulting tomographic process image data, and lastly and perhaps most important, the user process interpretation of the composite sensor data for exploitation in process monitoring and control.
